"Advocacy Day 2012"

Presented by:
March of Dimes

Midlands

• Wednesday, March 7, 2012
10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
South Carolina Statehouse
Columbia, SC 29425

Save the Date 2012 Advocacy Day!

This year, join the March of Dimes as we advocate for state policies to improve access to health services under publicly supported health coverage programs such as Medicaid, S-CHIP and Maternal, Infant and Early Childhood Home Visitation.

It is vital that the SC General Assembly hear from the March of Dimes and from you, our dedicated volunteers, about the critical need for programs to prevent prematurity and promote healthy pregnancies and healthy babies. Legislators will not give priority to protecting these programs unless they know how important they are to their constituents.

“Just one” -Consider bringing “just one” friend, family member, colleague, or fellow volunteer to this event to make our voices even stronger and louder!

Even if you can only attend part of the day, you can still participate. Help the March of Dimes speak for families that are not able to speak for themselves!
